Sunrise at Mount Loretto, April 2020
This is the interior of a log on the shore at Mount Loretto Unique Area on Staten Island. The sun has just risen and the warm first light illuminates the scene.
Liberty Denied?
This was taken in May 2019, and the reaction of many people who saw this image led me to title this photo as "Liberty Denied?" People felt the image captured the concerns many have about the state of this country's democracy. I did not have that thought while filming, but after looking at it later, I could see where some might think a statement is being made.

Sunset at Beacon, New York
My summer weekend visit to Beacon, NY ended with a Hudson River sunset. The view here is looking south toward Storm King on the right and Mount Taurus and Anthony's Nose on the left.
Hunter College Walkway
This is the walkway at Hunter College in New York. Earlier this year, the artist Daniel Buren installed colorful stripes to decorate the Lexington Avenue walkways on Hunter's 3rd and 7th floors. The art installation began in March and was supposed to be up for six months. So far the stripes are still in place and it is looking possible that this could be a permanent installation. This photo was taken in March on Good Friday when there were no classes. The hallway was empty and at this moment one person walked into my frame and is forever about to make the walk from one building to another. The image was filmed with an 8mm fisheye lens.
